For the last two decades I’ve been working in PR and communications with international companies and government agencies. I’ve had the privilege of spending more than half my life outside my native UK, predominantly in Asia. I’ve lived and practiced in Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Australia. Today I am based in Saudi Arabia and work for King Abdullah Economic City, the world's only public listed city and one of the largest new city developments in the world.
My interest in photography goes back thirty years, to when I got my first SLR - a Chinon CE-4 - as a birthday present. I was an early convert to digital, since I never had the money or the space for a darkroom. My images are generally processed using Adobe Lightroom only - I prefer to get the image right in the camera than to rely on a lot of post-processing.
My other interests include theatre, evolutionary biology and mythic literature.
